What could cause an extra 25 to life after entering prison?
Q. If a lady is currently sitting in jail with gun and drug felony charges set for 8 years suddenly get an additional 25 to life due to a jail "event" what the heck could she have done? Any ideas?

A. 98% of all prison inmates are either drug and/or alcohol addicts. Their addictions lend great hand towards their lives in prison; even more trouble once in prison, because they succumbed to those addictions. With law enforcement forensic breakthroughs in DNA evidence and better crime detection tools--it's now very common for an inmate to face criminal charges for seriously illegal acts they THOUGHT they got away with; acts done BEFORE they landed in prison. Inmates commtting serious crimes while in prison can also snag serious additional years to one's sentence. I gather you've asked this friend questions on why they got this time added to their sentence---and you're not getting straight answers from them. Don't expect to: criminal… [cont.]

can someone get an appeal and go home off a 25 to life charge?
Q. my ex girlfriend told me that her babyfather is getting out of jail next year because he made his appeal.he had a 25 to life sentence for murder.how is he getting out next year?is she telling the truth? Is this even possible
Asked by Jaike - Wed Apr 8 20:01:41 2009 - - 7 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Yes it's possible. The whole nature of an appeal is to prove that one was wrongly convicted at the end of their first trial. If he were to win an appeal, his conviction would be overturned, thus canceling his sentence.

What are the 25 elements that are essential to life?
Q. My biology teacher told me that there are specifically 25 elements on the periodic table that are essential to life. Does anyone know exactally what they are?
Asked by toriluv6205 - Tue Nov 13 00:02:48 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The major elements in biological systems (cells) are "CHOPSN" or Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Phosphorous, Sulfur and Nitrogen. The rest are "trace elements" or "micronutrients" listed here in roughly their order of importance: Chlorine, Sodium, Iodine, Potassium, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, Selenium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Cobalt, Chromium, Copper, Boron, Fluoride, Arsenic, Nickel , Vanadium, Cadmium, Lead, Lithium, Silicon and Tin Your teacher told you there are 25 elements, but these 29 are all found (some in extremely small quantities) in cells.

Do people ever have a hard time memoring their life before the age of 25?
Q. I'm 25, and I feel like I didn't really experience the life before. I can't hardly remember things I did. I can only remember the most important things that happened. Is it normal for people to want to look back in time, because they feel like the years before just dissappeared.

How can 25 life sentences = 19.5 years?
Q. The father who repeatedly raped his daughters has been given 25 life sentences, and the judge said he should serve at least 19.5 years: Why not just lock him up for good, where he can do no more harm?

A. a prisoner is eligible to apply for parole only after serving his minimum period which is here 19.5 years. as i know usually this is when he's sentenced to life, so if they're assured he's no harm to the public after that period he might be released. and i guess at his age 56 another 20 years he might not even be alive then. anyhow i left you a link for more elaboration do check it out.

Any Gift ideas for a life partner of over 25 years ?
Q. Today we are celebrating our marriage anniversary. We had ups and downs and faced some crisis in the past, but our marriage has been successful and we have four very special kids, very loving, caring and super intelligent. Indeed I have some complaints, but so does my wife. I can still imagine her in her 22nd year, tall, Slim and very innocent looking, when we saw each other for the first time in life. Yes it was an arranged marriage, which was quite common in Pakistan and still is. A unique, out of box, new idea will be greatly appreciated.

A. Not sure if I can think of 25, but I'll think of as many as I can... - Shopping - Designing buildings - Telling time - Finding possible outcomes of something - Finding out how long something will get from one place to another - Interests, discounts, etc. - Dividing a pizza or pie evenly - Finding out how long something is in the air before hitting the ground - Mixing 2 or more things together to create a new thing These are just some ideas.

How can I find young people around my age 18-25 to talk to in Second Life?
Q. This is really frustrating, most Second Life users I come across seem to be thirty plus, and I'm not interested in making friendships with people in this age range. I'm 18, and struggling to find people in Second Life around my age. Can anyone help? =]

A. One of the common criticisms of people who use Second Life (SL) is that we should go and get a real life. The fact is that most of us in SL are in our 30s or older and we did all that real life stuff already. Marriage, kids, house, job ... all that stuff we were so eager to do when we were under 20, is now the things that pretty much bind us to our homes. So it's not so unusual that a place like SL attracts us older people, because without leaving our kids and without dipping too much into the funds that pay the car loans, mortgage, clothes for kids, power bills and the food for the family, we can meet up with friends and do fun things from the confines of our home. SL can slot nicely into all the other responsibilities we have. What this… [cont.]
