i need game and ideas for a teens formal party?
Q. We have the theme, it is black and white semi- formal. We will have about 50 people and most will be teens. I need games or things for them to do and i dont want them to be bored. I have looked at murder mystery games but some seem so complicated it would be hard for people to follow. Does anyone have any ideas. If anyone has any ideas please help. We will have a large area we are renting and a dance floor but I feel like people are going to get board after awhile.

A. Teens would rather sit around and talk (and dance) than play games!

what should i do to make my room like more like a teens room?
Q. my room kindof looks little kiddish and i want to make it cooler. any tips? BTW: i am thinking of make a big collage of posters and pictures on my door. is that dorky?

A. Hey sweetie. Target is pretty cheap and they have a bunch of cool teen room decorating stuff. Try to skip over things like posters and covering your door with collages. That will make your room look more childish. Make sure to use a lot of bright colors. Pictures of your family & friends are always a great touch. Maybe get a cork board and pin up notes, class schedules, a couple pics, etc. Anything that represents being a student, being young, having fun. I only wish I could be young again. Have fun re-decorating.

Why is it that MOST teens find appearance more important than education?
Q. I'm focusing more on teenagers. Being a teen myself & not able to explain why most of them tend to think that being good-looking is the first goal they have to reach. I do prepare myself to look neat & decent, also but I limit myself all the time. So, it's easier to ask those who aren't teens looking from your point of view, why do you think they worry about things that aren't as important in life more than things that are. & I'm talking about teens in general, both male & female. Isn't it better to be independent & earn money from your own success that you deserve rather than spending someone else's money & depend on that person. That only applies to those with self-esteem problems. Why would acceptance decides who you are? I mean it's OK… [cont.]

A. I think teens focus on there appearance for basically one main reason...acceptance. Teens feel that if they don't look a certain way, dress a certain way, and act a certain way people won't accept them. I think teens should stop focusing on there appearance and let people actually know them for who they are not for what they look like.
