Child health nursing is an area of nursing and medical practice with a focus on providing holistic care to infants, children and adolescents. It differs from pediatrics, in that the emphasis in pediatrics is ill-health and the alleviation of symptoms or disease. One of the major principles of pediatric nursing is the concept of family centered care. Pediatric nurses function to support the family by providing nursing care that the family cannot perform, educating and supporting them to maintain their normal caring activities and actively viewing the parents as partners in the care process.. Another word for child health nursing is pediatric nursing. From Wikipedia under the

From Google News Search: "Child Health" Child Health? Q. One of my cousin's daughter is just 12. For her age she has quite large breas*ts - probably a B cup. Does she need to start wearing a bra already or should we wait till a 'proper' age of 14? Right now she doesnt wear one and her breas*ts seem to be too obviously exposed and moving when she runs/walks? Does it have to do anything with her mother - she is a large woman? or is she abnormal and should we take her to the doctor for a check up? She has confided that her breas*ts are a little tender all the time and hurt if it brushes against anything. Is it because of any gyno probs? There are NO lumps in her breas*ts. Asked by dev_mallya2002 - Tue May 8 04:37:57 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. I got my first one at eleven. Everyone else had one. They would slap my back and rub to determine if I was "wearing" yet. How embarrassing! If she is developed enough to be guessed at a B Cup, she certainly is a well-endowed twelve year old. It is formally referred to medically as precocious puberty. See the source below for more information. It may be time to schedule an appointment with a gynecologist for discussion on maturation, mensis, etc... Ask her if she is interested in a sports bra...they are much more comfortable than those old "hook" types, they support well, and are less conspicuous than the standard "stay" type. See the last source shown for online examples of upper frontal support devices... Answered by sheila_0123 - Tue May 8 04:52:42 2007 Is a minor child's parent required to provide health insurance for baby of minor child? Q. My brother is divorced and pays child support and provides health insurance for his 2 kids. One of his minor daughters just gave birth to a baby. Will he be required to provide health insurance for the baby of his dependent, or will the State of Texas require the baby's father to "step up"? Asked by shy_green_eyes@sbcglobal.net - Wed Aug 29 12:05:47 2007 - - 10 Answers - 0 Comments A. Your probably going to have to look up the laws of Texas. I would think that the babys father would have to provide insurance not the babys grandfather. She can also apply for the state aid insurance.
