Child health nursing is an area of nursing and medical practice with a focus on providing holistic care to infants, children and adolescents. It differs from pediatrics, in that the emphasis in pediatrics is ill-health and the alleviation of symptoms or disease. One of the major principles of pediatric nursing is the concept of family centered care. Pediatric nurses function to support the family by providing nursing care that the family cannot perform, educating and supporting them to maintain their normal caring activities and actively viewing the parents as partners in the care process.. Another word for child health nursing is pediatric nursing. This nursing-related article is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.Categories: Nursing specialties From Wikipedia under the

Is the government becoming more and more selfish? Q. here is the story Asked by on - Sat Oct 18 15:31:12 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. I fail to see how you could attach the word "selfish" to the situation. It's simply a matter of whether it can be paid for. You see, barring a return of the institution of slavery, you can't have universal health care without paying for it. Those who argue that health care is a right, which it distinctly cannot be, forget that health care must be provided by somebody, and the health care provider must be paid. Enhance: An economy that is strong enough to support public health and medical research. A society that places value on children's lives and encourages mandated reporting of child abuse. Strong cultural and family ties where families work together to create a happy household and follow healthy traditions. Negative: A poor economy that places more value on wealth of the nation than on the health of the citizens. Being isolated from peers. Encouragement of unsafe and illegal cultural practices which place a child's life in danger- for instance, genital mutilation of females.
