Climate-change assessment: Must try harder The Economist From Google News Search: "Critical Views" Is the NBC News Executives correct to ban "anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now" ? Q. A producer at the Today show announced he would not allow Ann Coulter to be on the show, saying "We are just not interested in anyone so highly critical of President-elect Obama, right now," Is this a good state of journalism at NBC? Should journalists and news programs avoid airing views critical of our leaders now that our Messiah is here? Asked by ObaMao - Tue Jan 6 10:21:20 2009 - - 15 Answers - 0 Comments A. NBC is totally warped. They had Bill Ayers on, a well known terrorists, but wouldn't let on a harmless Ann Coulter? Talk about extreme liberal bias from the media. I can't ever listen to NBC because of their extreme bias. Answered by timetravler - Tue Jan 6 10:34:17 2009 What is your opinion of ex-Muslims or those who are critical of Islam? Q. What is your view on those who were raised Muslim but chose to convert out of Islam and be another religion or no religion? What of those ex-Muslims who also share their views regarding Islam including those that shed it in a negative light? And what of those who take a critical approach to Islam i.e. questions, pointing out contradictions or issues? I left Christianity myself so I know what its like to change faiths. However, I do not take it upon myself to bash Christianity, make accusatory statements disguised as questions, or fight with Christians. I respect their rights to believe in their religion, even if its not for me anymore. Ex-Muslims for some odd reason are quite vicious in their attacks on Islam and Muslims. They don't want to be Muslims, that's fine. But why do they insist to come and fight with Muslims? They want us to accept their decision and respect their freedom, but they absolutely do not afford us the same luxury. Then when we get upset because of the constant… [cont.] Answered by umhuda - Wed May 14 21:55:39 2008 Why do women who reach a level of success at work, become critical of other women below them?
Q. I've worked for three separate companies where a woman was lead or in a managerial role that I (I'm a woman) worked for. In all instances, I've found that they were more critical and often pointed out short comings instead of helping you to advance at work? They often wanted to work with men instead. Why? In all cases, I never wanted their job I just wanted to advance as they had advanced. If a man asked about advancement or opportunities for added responsibilities, they would have been viewed differently. Asked by ValLin 88 - Fri Jul 17 09:39:18 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A.
