Does christian children fund try to convert the children and their families?
Q. I have been thinking of sponsering a child for a while. I am wondering if Christian Children's fund tries to covert. If so, what other sponsership programs are there that DO NOt try to convert, and are trustworthy and safe to donate through?

A. I have been a sponsor with CCF for 20 years and they DO NOT try and convert. Those who said that they do simply do not know what they are talking about. I would not give CCF money if they were evangelizing. CCF was originally formed by Christian missionaries in 1938 and that is where the name originates. However, they are now a private nonsectarian organization. Christian Children's Fund provides help to children regardless of race, religion, or gender. They respect the cultural heritage, personal pride and dignity of the families that they assist. Another great organization that allows you to sponsors kids is Save the Children, which works both in the U.S. and internationally -

How do you punish irresponsible parents without harming the children?
Q. Every working person is offended by the benefits that irresponsible people receive for having children that they neither want or can afford. But these children are innocent victims of their parents behaviors, none asked to be here. It is hypocritical to complaining about feeding a child here, when we spend billions killing children in other countries. With more and more people having children out of wedlock and no slowing in site. How do we alter this behavior without harming the children more? Since we can not sterilize people in this country, what do we do or is this just how its going to be?

A. Having children is a part of being human. Most people have them at some point. Back in the day the average person had a lot more than they do today. 10 kids used to be quite common. Now it seems the average is around 3. Are you saying that poor people shouldn't be able to have kids? I think irresponsible should be defined a little more. How do you know they don't want them? People who don't want their kids have options. Everyone should be able to experience the joys of having children. Not everyone can have good jobs and make good money. Some people abuse the system and maybe there should be more things in place to stop that. But, some people don't and genuinely need some help. There will always be rich and poor people in our country… [cont.]

Television - How much you worry about the children in india ?
Q. Television is no longer merely the drug of the nation. In Australia, young children spend more time watching television than any other activity. In the united states of america they spend minimum 1 to 2 hours every day. In Britain, they spend 5 hours, watching, playing computer games or one line every day. In india, so many channels, comedy channel, serial channel, news channel, spirituality channel, children channel and this in every languages and children concentrate more on televsion than their education and also becoming lazy in their own routine works. Televisions making the children good or bad ? In Australia, they are planning to restrict television.
